The Magna Charta was signed on June 15, 1215, so now celebrating its 800th anniversary! The founders of our Republic based their stand for independence on the written law.  At numerous times they referenced Magna Charta as the fountain of English law and liberty.  Why did they do this?  What might they have known about its history and content that we do not?  Join us to hear the true story of how Magna Charta came to be written and why it is significant for us to remember it on its 800th anniversary."
