This session, taught by Dr. Max Lyons, explains the unique characteristics of this revolutionary approach to education (2 parts, 5 hours).
Session 2: The Principle Approach® to Teaching Classic Grammar and Literature
This session, taught by Dr. Carole Adams, prepares teachers to cultivate eloquent and articulate writers and speakers
by using the classics and proven methods of language skill-building (2 parts, 5 hours).
Session 3: Teaching Reading by the Principle Approach®
In this first part of this session, Martha Shirley, prepares the teacher to develop their students’ critical thinking and reasoning skills. In the second part, a workshop applies the reading strategies in a reading lesson (2 parts, 5 hours).
Session 4: Principle Approach® Methods
The first part of this session, History
and Bible, prepares you to teach the critical subjects of history and Bible, with implications for teaching all of the humanities. Taught by Dr. Carole Adams and Dr. Max Lyons (2.5 hours).
The second part of this session, Science, equips teachers with the philosophy and methodology of teaching and learning science Biblically. Taught by Margie Lyons (2.5 hours).
Session 5: First Landing Christian History Tour
In this talk, historian Chris Evans explains the exciting, little-known story of the Christian founding and dedication of Virginia and America in 1607 by the Jamestown (1 part, 90 minutes).
