The Institute on the Constitution Six-Week Course
Monday nights, March 23–April 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Are you concerned about the direction in which our country is headed? Do you want to be better informed and able to discuss issues from a principled perspective? Do you want to understand the foundations of our republic better—from a Biblical worldview? This course will explore the Biblical principles that underlie our system of Christian self-government.
Mr. Porter is Executive Director of the Constitution Leadership Initiative, a program to promote a better understanding of the U.S. Constitution among the American people, and a volunteer docent at the Foundation for American Christian Education. He will be teaching the Institute on the Constitution (IOTC) Basic U.S. Constitution Course.
The cost for the six-week course is $40, which includes: lectures, handouts, access to recorded presentations, weekly assignments, final test with answers, and certificate of completion. In addition participants will need to purchase a textbook ($35) from the instructor (local attendees) or IOTC (online attendees). The course content is suitable for high school students and older. Homeschool parents are urged to consider this course for high school students enrolled in American government. Special pricing is available for members of the same family. Please email Melissa at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. To allow sufficient time for delivery of student manuals, the deadline for registrations is March 13th.
