Redefining Humans: The Biblical Response

Our times have seen revolutionary changes in the norms of sexual and social beliefs and practices that attempt to alter the very definition of human beings and society. Dr. Jumper will name and analyze these trends and propose redemptive Christian responses, both of thought and of practice.
Dr. Jumper is a Teaching Elder in the Evangelical Presbyterian Church and a retired Navy chaplain. He received a B.A. in History from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma; a M.Div. from Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia; graduation from the Chaplain Advanced Course in Newport, Rhode Island; a Ph.D. in Humanities from Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island with a dissertation, “Jus Post Bellum (Justice After War): Contours of Construction”; and Teacher Certification (Social Studies 8-12) at ACT Houston in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Jumper is married to Ginger and they have seven children ages thirteen to twenty-three. They live in Chesapeake, Virginia.
