On Monday, October16th in our classroom and live online, 7:00-9:00 pm EST

Coming soon: Halloween and… Reformation Day! Halloween reminds us of evil and death. Its historic roots in the occult remind us of Satan who comes to “kill, steal and destroy.” The Reformation reminds us of the opposite, of the One who came to give us abundant life, blessing, prosperity, hope and peace.  October 31, 2017 is the 500th anniversary of the beginning of the Reformation that impacted almost every area of life: theology, education, civil government, church life, and the family. What principles can we learn from a proper understanding of the Protestant Reformation, and how can we apply these principles so that we can further the cause of revival and reformation in our generation? Let’s learn together, and be used of God to advance the cause of Christ and liberty!

Max Lyons served as teacher and administrator in three Christian schools since 1979. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Virginia Wesleyan College, a Masters in Christian School Administration from Regent University, and a Ph.D. in Christian Education from Whitefield Theological Seminary.  He currently serves as Director of Teaching Services at The Foundation for American Christian Education. He is the author or co-author of six books. Max and his wife Margie have 4 adult children and 7 homeschooled and Christian schooled grandchildren.
