a lecture in a series of Lessons in Liberty
Dr. Carlton McLeod will present:
Restoring the Biblical Family
On Monday, August 24th in our Chesapeake, Virginia classroom and live online, 6:30-8:30 pm EST
The answer to the many current attacks on the family and marriage— the God’s Word! We can trust the Scriptures...its sufficiency...and God's heart for family. God’s Word is clear on the subjects of marriage, manhood, womanhood, education, family worship, and stewardship...all fruits of the power of the Gospel as it relates to the home. What does a Biblical marriage, home, and family look like? How can I create one? What can I do to help restore the Biblical family that is the foundation stone of our great nation? Dr. McLeod’s presentation promises to be Scripturally, not politically, correct!
Senior Founding Pastor of Calvary Revival Church Chesapeake, Dr. McLeod is a native of Columbia, SC and grew up in Upper Marlboro, MD. In 1987, he enlisted in the United States Navy and reached the rank of O-3 before the Lord called him into full-time ministry. In 1997, He and his wife Donna established Closer Walk Christian Fellowship. In 2002, Closer Walk Christian Fellowship was accepted into the Calvary Alliance of Churches and Ministries. After much prayer, Closer Walk Christian Fellowship changed its name to Calvary Revival Church Chesapeake in 2005.
Carlton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Science from Hampton University; a Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry from Andersonville Theological Seminary. He and his wife Donna have been married since 1992. They reside in Chesapeake, VA with their three children.
