Jim Evans is currently the host and teacher for his daily radio broadcast, Foundational Reasoning Through Scripture, heard Monday through Friday on AM 1010 WPMH radio. This program is devoted to teaching biblical worldview through the Scriptures, addressing topics of our day.
Chris Evans has homeschooled their two children and also worked in promotion, publicity and history events at StoneBridge School. She has been politically active in public policy in conservative and social issues for 32 years. Chris has spent 25 years researching and studying Christian history specializing in the providential history of America and the Virginia Colony. She is currently available to lead tours of the First Landing site and the historic district specializing in tours of Jamestown.
God’s Providence in America’s Founding will examine the historic events surrounding the landing, dedication, and permanent settlement of this land. The story begins, though, with the people and the vision of the grand-founders, many years before the landing at Cape Henry, on April 26, and dedication service on April 20, 1607. Our grand-founders, men like Richard Hakluyt and others, were people who were influenced greatly by the English Protestant Reformation. This ensured that America was destined to be a nation based solidly on the principles of God’s Word.
