I would like to preserve this library to continue to serve as a fortress of truth guarding America from the assault of postmodernism and anti-Americanism that has spawned the hedonism and vagrant character of the present age.

The value of this library is well stated in the introduction to the facsimile edition of William Bradford’s History "Of Plimoth Plantation:" "His unity and tenacity of purpose, his confidence in the divine guidance, his ever-present feeling that the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, these assuredly were lessons which he had learnt . . . and whether we look at the deeper gifts of thought or the lighter gifts of expression, the literature of Puritan new England in the days of fuller leisure and riper learning produced nothing worthier than this, its first-fruits."
