An open invitation to pastors

Posted By Max Lyons, Thursday, January 8, 2015

Dear Pastor,

Thank you so much for your faithfulness to “feed the flock of the God...” (I Peter 5:2). As a ministry that supports Christian education we are very cognizant of the vital role that pastors have as primary Christian educators in our community.

I know that you constantly live with the realization that we live in perilous times (II Timothy 3:1). The church of God has much work to do to continue to be “salt and light” in a culture that is rapidly moving away from Biblical principles. Many pastors are concerned with the vital question of “how can we restore Biblical principles to education, government, our economic system, the media and every other aspect of life and culture?” Many are quickly realizing the truth that the philosophy of education in one generation will become the philosophy of government in the next generation. That is why we must effectively disciple our church members so that they can effectively disciple their children. The Foundation for American Christian Education (FACE) is really and willing to assist you with this critical endeavor. We publish over 150 products that support Christian education in the home, church and school. We have an ongoing teaching program, for adults and children, to impart America’s Christian history and method of education. We teach what the Bible says about history, government, economics, science, the arts, media, and every other subject.

We want to extend a special invitation to those who love God and our nation to join us February 11_12, 2015 at the beautiful Founders Inn for purposeful and transformational presentations designed to encourage, equip, and embolden your commitment to Biblical education and scholarship, giving you a Reason for Hope. For details go to We sincerely hope that you will be able to attend this important training and networking opportunity.

To highlight one of our seven outstanding speakers, Bill Federer will teach us historically how Christianity has produced liberty, and conversely, how other religions or secularism, produces bondage.

Teachers can earn two Continuing Education Units (2 CEUs; $10 for ACSI certificate) while enjoying dynamic teaching and high quality peer-exchanges.   Optional pre-conference and post-conference activities are also available including a Stonesetters Tour, Leadership Breakfast and Providential History Tour of Jamestown Island.  You won’t want to miss these.  For more information and conference registration visit our website at or call (757) 488-6601 or (800) 352-3223.

We look forward to welcoming you,

Max Lyons, Ph.D.
